The opal is Australian; broad-flash reds and pin-fire greens. It is inset into Australian black jade, with a sliver of blue lapis. And this is married to a chunk of natural petrified wood from Oregon. The petrified wood shows very distinct banding. And the outer edge is left raw and natural.
The back side is also interesting and the pendant could easily be worn showing just the back.
The pendant measures 1-3/8 inch in height, and 1 inch in width. This makes it a perfect size to wear any time.
The pendant is drilled through the top with a 4 x 3.5mm diameter hole; a size large enough for most chains appropriate to the scale of the pendant. Leather cord looks great too! The chain is not included, but may be purchased together, from the drop-down menu. The chain shown is a 14k gold-filled, 18" in length.
I do all my own lapidary work, and source most of the material used, seen in my shop, myself.
This is a one-of-a-kind pendant, and all of the stones are genuine, natural.
Thanks so much and please do not hesitate to inquire with any questions at all. I will get right back with you.
