Pietersite is a unique and very interesting stone. It shows distinctive silky swirls of color in reddish-brown and deep blue, minerals that are chatoyant - that reflect light. This stone is from Namibia. Complimenting the warm browns and blues of the pietersite, is a slice of intense clear Lapis. And to set it all off with depth, is a side of black jade from New Zealand. All of the stones are natural and untreated.
This is a one of a kind pendant and you wont be disappointed.
The pendant is drilled through the top with a 3.5x4mm hole size, large enough for medium weight chains - most chains that would be appropriate to the scale of the pendant. Leather cord looks great too. If purchasing with the chain - it is a 14k gold-fill, double-cable style, 18" in length.
I do all my own intarsia and lapidary work and stone cutting.
